Carlton bury Collingwood "Footyhead's" comments on rd 8

"Footyhead" completed his first interview for 2009 on the Friday night before this game with a former AFL Forward scout and will upload it later. Several interviews with past and current AFL footyheads are in the schedule for the season to give the average footy fan and others a bit of an insight into what the game involves besides the spectacle on the oval.

A late upload of Footyhead this week not due to sooking about the loss though lol. Been busy arranging interviews with AFL and former AFL people for future FOOTYHEAD's to give a bit more insight into what goes on week to week at AFL clubs in the quest to win games.

Footyhead Carlton bone the Bulldogs

Footyhead has got tired of being serious about the footy at last and is begining to get back to his old ways and thinking with his mouth and putting his brain away into the hat box for the rest of the season. The less you think about football the better it is...

Footyhead's Carlton V Sydney comments...

Time some of the media were put on prozac to get them to match the pace of time passing after round four and the rabbiting on about coaches getting the bullet and who is going to win what at the end of the season is as premature as as da Vinci's helicopter.

Footyhead's Carlton V Essendon post game comments Rd 3

Umpires reporting players for touching them and free kicks that give goals are just part of the AFL game today.

BBQ rules....

BBQ RULES
We are about to enter the BBQ season. Therefore it is important to refresh your memory on the etiquette of this sublime outdoor cooking activity. Sadly as time progresses the historical tradition of respect and praise are forgotten. When men finally listened to women and gave them the vote and equality there were many changes to the traditions that have seen the survival of humans. From the very begining when men went out with pointy sticks to hunt mammoths for lunch to the present day it is important to retain the tales of history. When a man volunteers to do the BBQ the following chain of events are put into motion:
Routine... (1) The woman buys the food. (2) The woman makes the salad, prepares the vegetables, and makes dessert . (3) The woman prepares the meat for cooking, places it on a tray along with the necessary cooking utensils and sauces, and takes it to the man who is lounging beside the grill - beer in hand. (4) The woman remains outside the compulsory three meter exclusion zone where the exuberance of testosterone and other manly bonding activities can take place without the interference of the woman.
Here comes the important part: (5) THE MAN PLACES THE MEAT ON THE BBQ. More routine... (6) The woman goes inside to organise the plates and cutlery. (7) The woman comes out to tell the man that the meat is looking great. He thanks her and asks if she will bring another beer while he cooks the meat .
Important again: (8) THE MAN TAKES THE MEAT OFF THE BBQ AND HANDS IT TO THE WOMAN. More routine... (9) The woman prepares the plates, salad, bread, utensils, napkins, sauces, and brings them to the table. (10) After eating, the woman clears the table and does the dishes.
And most important of all: (11) Everyone PRAISES the MAN and THANKS HIM for his cooking efforts. (12) The man asks the woman how she enjoyed "her night off." And, upon seeing her annoyed reaction, concludes that there's just no pleasing some women.

Geoff On Dreams that come true...

Yes dear readers I have been tagged with the label of being a dreamer at times. Which is totally true, if I had no dreams then what would be interesting as something to do in life? Simply doing this is a result of my dreams that have came true and there are more successful events on the way for 2009. Good grief it is not even 30 days old yet and this year is already looming as bigger and better than the success of 2008.

In the past I was a publisher and editor of several hard copy magazines this year I am back to writing for part of my living again with VITO MAGAZINE in New Zealand. The link will take you to my first published columnist blog post on the DREAM of being an actor, film maker or production crew member in the world of entertainment. Which reminds me the long process of auditioning and casting for the Fanging It ABC2 tv series which is doing a feature on me will be aired from April the 6th 2009 to the 27th. So tune in to see myself and the many other talented film makers discovered by this program.

It may seem to be a while between posts on my blog but much of what I do is a long dull process which can be labelled as creativity time I choose not to share that tedious process with my readers. Yes I do love you it is true and that is why I don't inflict that side of my work on you. The compilation of projects is like making and putting together a jigsaw puzzle at the same time while suffering sporadic bouts of colour blindness.

Welcome to 2009 all and enjoy yourself throughout the coming adventures you have and my ramblings that will increase in tempo as the year progresses.
